About the Festival
The series of International Photo-Triennale in Esslingen at the Neckar started by initiative of Alexander Tolnay in 1989. Ever since It takes place every three years. As an outstanding exhibition of galleries in the city, it is part of the vital and diverse cultural life in Esslingen.Topics of past triennials were: discovered "film and photography in contemporary art" or "research! Image archive of invisibility.
